The goal of Empowerment 365 is to create a foundation for Personal Empowerment. This is done by identifying and creating a personal goal and working on it/YOU each day for one calendar year. The Empowerment is designed to assist YOU in the process of creating emotional balance and mental focus within your life.
I will work on myself;
I will work on my issues, concerns hurts and pains.
I will, with support and assistance, strive to develop the tools necessary for me to become a better person.
I will welcome growth within myself by acknowledging that I am becoming better everyday, one day at a time.
Beginning Your Day
Begin your day with gratitude by becoming thankful for the experience of another day. It is important to think and feel gratitude within your life. Sit for just a few moments and just feel the feelings of gratitude and thankfulness. Allow this feeling to move throughout your entire body. While YOU are thinking and feeling, breathe in, take long, slow breaths and become quiet. Close your eyes and begin to feel gratitude for waking with a sound mind, your body, sight, hearing and senses. Relax and express gratitude for your mental, physical and emotional health, your life and for your gifts, strengths talents and abilities.
Today, I will work on myself. I will make an effort to work on my issues. Continue to keep this thought in your mind as YOU go through your day today. In order to become successful, I mean truly successful we have to get ourselves right within first. We often leave childhood, develop relationships, have children, create possessions, develop careers and in the midst of it all lose the most important thing in life... YOU!!! Along the way YOU have learned to focus your mind, thoughts and attention on everyone and everything except YOU.
Today, direct your focus on YOU. Carefully examine your strengths, gifts, talents and abilities. Begin to focus your attention on your thoughts, moods, feelings and emotions. Direct your attention toward the things that YOU know YOU need to work on. Finally, focus upon the things that are good about YOU, focus on the things that are special about YOU and focus on the things that are unique about YOU.
