The First is Covenant
The Covenant is a bonding unbreakable agreement that you make with yourself. This bonding unbreakable agreement is the glue or the foundation or at the heart of who you are and what you are all about. It is honoring yourself. At the core of this agreement is your own personal truth. The fact is you can lie to others, but you cannot lie to yourself. By making the covenant, we remove all excuse and place our efforts for change growth and personal development in our own hands and squarely on our shoulders. It is the first agreement, because if you can begin to honor, love and respect yourself, you can honor, love and respect all others.
The Second Commitment
You have to make a Commitment to honoring your covenant agreement. Meaning that you will do everything within your power to honor your covenant agreement. Your commitment is the first level of support of and for your covenant.
The Third is Consistency
Consistency is your daily efforts in doing the things that will allow you to reach your goal. This consistency supports your commitment to honoring your Covenant. Consistency is repetitious, each day everyday over and and over and over again. It is your regular, consistent efforts to 'do" that will allow you to reach your goals.
The Fourth is Change
Change will come through your consistent effort and commitment. That again means your daily efforts to work on yourself, your goals and honoring your Covenant Agreement.
The Fifth is Courage
It takes courage to change and you have to have courage to stand up and say no to yourself. This has to be done on two levels mentally (within your mind) and then physically (by managing your actions). You have to have the courage to tell yourself or selves no over and over and over again. Having courage means that you are willing in to stand up for yourself and for what you have agreed to do by making and honoring your covenant. Courage is being firm in your convictions and beliefs, but it also means doing exactly what you said you would do! Find the courage to love, honor, respect and trust yourself, today each day everyday one day at a time.
Continue to work on yourself each day and the change you desire will come! Let me know how it goes! I am cheering for you!
