Day 33 of 365
Beginning Your Day
Gratitude
Begin each day with gratitude and appreciation for your life and your health. Become thankful for your body and for all of your abilities that come from it. Become thankful for your sight, your hearing, your senses of touch, taste, smell, become thankful for all of your internal organs and their systems. Become thankful that all of your systems are functioning properly. Think and feel that YOU are in perfect health. Become thankful for waking with a sound mind, become peaceful and relaxed.
Forgiveness
Begin today with forgiveness. Forgive yourself and others. Take this moment to begin your day renewed and refreshed. Think and feel that YOU are beginning a new day with a clean slate. Begin your day with the release of hurt, pain and grudges from the past. Begin your day with forgiving yourself for past mistakes and bad choices. Remember that each experience in life is a tool for your learning, personal growth and expansion.
Personal Development
One of the tools of Empowerment is personal development. Personal development within the concept is working on and developing YOU. Earlier we defined YOU as the nature, character or unseen identity of the person or individual within. To be clear we are beginning the process of Empowering YOU to work on your nature character and unseen parts within. Personal development is not about your clothing, jewelry, shoes, cars, houses or anything outside of YOU. It is about YOU and your abilities, talents gifts and strengths. It is getting to know YOU the real authentic YOU. The great thing here is, we all know ourselves. We all know our likes, dislikes our styles and even our pet eves. We are with ourselves each day of our lives and believe me; no one knows YOU better that YOU. Where do we begin? We begin with YOU. To begin YOU have to become ready and determined that YOU want to work on changing and developing YOU. If YOU are reading this then YOU are ready! If your world is to become a better place, YOU will have to change and if the world is to become a better place YOU will have to change it. What better place to start change in the world than with YOU. Each day in the process of personal development YOU will begin to examine the programs and patterns of thought that YOU have formed during your life time. Imagine for a moment, the many patterns of thought, action and behavior that YOU have learned to develop from the time that YOU were a child. Your parents and others instilled thoughts and beliefs within YOU that YOU now actively function with. Begin for a moment to think of all the images and behaviors that YOU model that are not your own. YOU learned as child to mimic and copy what YOU saw others do and say. Many of us believe everything that we were told and never questioned it for a moment. The clearest example I can give YOU is of belief of the world itself. At a point in time, it was a belief that the world was flat. Many people lived their entire lives believing that this was the truth. This truth was passed down to them by what was seen and by someone whom they believed knew exactly what they were talking about. Today, we all know for a fact that the world is round. The goal here is to provide YOU with the tools of personal development, so that YOU may begin to put forth the effort to develop the true authentic YOU. To begin you will need to sit quietly and begin to evaluate the area or areas with your life (actions, behaviors, ways, attitudes, activities, relationships and etc.) that YOU need to work on and begin the process of change and personal development or growth. Many of YOU are experiencing problems in areas within your life not because of others, but because of YOU and the ways in which YOU think and behave. Lastly, it is a fact that your thoughts become your actions. It is important to begin to understand to power of thought and how it impacts your life. In many cases, the way YOU feel, your health, actions, attitudes, lack of self control or self discipline and addictions all lead back to the way YOU think or have learned to think. If YOU are experiencing financial problems or problems in your relationships at some point YOU have to examine the way YOU think.
Take a few moments today to examine the ways in that YOU have learned think and behave:
Examine your moods
Examine your actions
Examine the way that YOU treat others
Examine the way that others treat YOU
Examine the things that frustrate YOU
Examine the things that YOU believe to be true
Examine YOU
Today honestly see yourself as YOU really are. Begin today to determine if your world round or flat?
Know that YOU are uniquely special and there is only one YOU. Today begin to work toward becoming the greatest YOU that YOU can be today, each day, everyday, one day at a time.
YOU - The nature, character or unseen identity of the person or individual within
