The Effort of Courage
(To make an Effort or to Simply TRY to have and Utilize Courage)

Courage is a kind of internal strength, power or energy. This mental energy when combined with Effort will allow you to meet a scary circumstance or situation head on. The Effort of Courage is called upon whenever we confront difficult, frightening, painful or disturbing situations.  The Effort of Courage is to demonstrate your Ability to manage your feelings, moods and emotions when we are challenged or pushed to the absolute limit.  The Effort of Courage is called upon to manage, overcome or subdue fear when feeling threatened, weak, vulnerable, intimidated or terrified. The Effort of Courage is utilized to survive and overcome an abusive, traumatic or neglected childhood or relationship. The Effort of Courage is the process of moving forward from within by utilizing the energy of resilience, dignity and integrity. The Effort of Courage is utilized within the process of Empowerment to work on yourself, Change and grow today each day, everyday one day at a time.

Begin your day with contemplation, reflection and thanksgiving. Become thankful for the day, for waking, for perfect health and the ability to see yet another day. Become thankful for all of the simple things in life that we simply take for granted. Humble yourself and become appreciative for the gift of life.

The Power of Empowerment
The power of Empower brings hope, restores life, vitality, morals, values, commitment, personal covenants and consistency. It increases your personal desire, determination motivation, inspiration and dedication. Begin the daily practice of working on you, working on the things that you know you need to work on and change. Become Empowered by developing your internal gifts, strengths, talents and abilities. The Power of Empowerment provides you with the tools to develop, renew and transform your mind/mindset or mentality. Begin today, to think about your thoughts, motivations and drives behind the consistent feelings, emotions, habits and addictions that you currently possess within. Today, make plans to spend time developing a plan for working on yourself, loving yourself, respecting yourself and improving yourself today each day everyday one day at a time.

You have the right to be successful after suffering loss, trauma, abuse, betrayal or the bumps and bruises of life.

Relaxation and Meditation

Many of us have never truly learned to relax. One of the best ways that I know of to regroup, revamp, recenter, re-everything is the practice of meditation. If you have never tried it then you are definitely missing something.  I promise you that once you do it you will want to do it all the time...yes, it can be that good.  But as with anything, you have to allow yourself to find the time to give to yourself and be still.  Quieting oneself is the biggest obstacle that most people face.  I know that meditation works...it has been proven to me time and time again.  To begin make the time to practice relaxation, meditation and quiet reflection DAILY. Create a goal of finding at least 10 minutes to practice and becoming consistent at relaxation and meditation. Begin today, to establish quiet periods for reflection, contemplation, relaxation and meditation.

If you are new to meditation, here are a few beginner's tips you can do to get you started:

*  Find a quiet place in your home, car, at the park, in your bedroom or bathroom where you know that you will not be disturbed for at least 10 minutes.

*  Sit upright in a chair, preferably, with your feet planted directly on the floor or ground, and the palms of your hands resting on your lap (palms up).

*  Close your eyes, listen to your breath, relax your body parts one by one and listen to the thoughts that are coming in.  Trust me, there will be a lot of thoughts coming in.  Don't try to dismiss them...let them flow in and flow out as you continue to keep your focus only on your breath.

*  Eventually, through practice, the thoughts will be become less and less and then you can focus more on your breathing and thereby become more relaxed.

The tips above is teaching you to still your mind and relax your body which leaves you feeling refreshed. Once you are able to still your mind you can move into other types of relaxation techniques that are not only relaxing but revealing as well.
